It allows you to edit codes, its superior to the cheat code editor the R4 comes with. Example the the above mentioned cheat code editor will not open.xml files over a certain size, this will. Further more it reads bother cheat.dat and usercheat.dat files. It will also encrypt the cheat.dat file, so if you choose so, no need for usercheat.dat.

To update your card, go to file and click Save, copy it to system and ur ready to go! If anyone is interested, I am maintaining Rayder's massive cheat compilation database. At this moment, theres just over 700 games in it. It also contains all of Hiei-YYH's codes as well as codes from other sources including Kodewerx.
The database is updated just about daily with new games and cheats or existing games. If you find a game is missing, feel free to contribute to it. I'm doing this all in my free time for all of you at GBAtemp I never expected to be compensated or any recognition for any of it. Also someone from Datel did contact me asking if they could use some of the Cheats in the cheat database that I have collected and some that I created and I said yes. Its the least I can do in return for all their hard work and dedication they put into making codes which I include in the cheat database for all of you.

Don't worry the only cheats they are using, at least tp;d me they are using will be ones that I either created or that my friends have created for me and giving their consent to be used in any way or form. I'm a code hacker myself so I know what its like when someone steals your codes without permission. I know it's old but.
Just to make it public here, i don't give (and never had) any permission to DATEL or any Codejunkies hacker to copy&paste/modify my codes and post on their site (with no credit whatsoever.).

I've been on the search for a better R4 DS Cheat Code Editor, but found nothing, just the original one. But I downloaded a perfect, professional Cheat Code Editor a few months ago.
The only problem was with that is the language, because it was Japanese! But now I needed a professional Editor, so I translated the newest version of the R4 DS Cheat Code Editor v0.4!! I translated all the interface from Japanese to English, even the arrows! But if anyone find anything about the grammar, typo, wrong words (change it to another word), etc. Just inform me and I'll fix it! - KNOWN 'BUG': When you want to quit after you modified the current Database, the dialog have Japanese text. I just can't do this because I didn't found where is that text is.
Any help is appreciated!! - So then there is the translated dialog in picture, when you quit after you've made changes to the Database and didn't saved it: This Editor is way better than the original, because it have more options, like you CAN Open the CHEAT.DAT for example!! And can decode it, edit it, and Save it!! (Yeah, no need for the usrcheat.dat!!) Enjoy! I'm trying to convert this Animal Crossing Codebreaker Code: 198515AF 5101060E When I press Convert, there's an error message with weird symbols (Not Japanese itself, but could be, possibly since I might not have a Japanese add-on). Am I doing something wrong?
